Featured designs and artists in Series 1 include: Back Biter by Mimic, Hard to Swallow by Doktor A, Strange Fruit by Eric Treadaway, Fred by Nixon Scratches, Tim by idlechimp, and Frosty by SpookyAMD. Along with Gwin : Series 1, October Toys will be showcasing several other upcoming toy projects including plush characters as well as more vinyl.
Were really excited to be part of the Tower booth and hope that people love Gwins as much as we do, commented co-owner of October Toys George Gaspar. Were also eager to get feedback from the public and find out which Gwins they would like to see in Series 2.
Our idea with the Gwins was to fuse the computer and art worlds together to create something new and fun, which hopefully people will agree we achieved, explained co-owner of October Toys Ayleen Dority.
Gwins are currently available for pre-order and are expected to ship late August 2005. For more information on Gwins, please visit http://www.gwinarmy.com
