Buy a Toy, Change a Life

The children of Katrina lost everything -- it's time to get them some toys.

Smithsburg, MD (PRWEB) September 13, 2005 -- All over the country people are donating important and much needed items to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. One group in Maryland has chosen to focus on the most helpless victims of all- the children.

These kids need toys -- items that they can call their own again. They need things to keep them busy, make them laugh and help them divert their thoughts from the sorrow and heartache they are going through. They need Barbies to call their best friend, and teddy bears to hold close at night. They need crayons to help express what they are feeling, music to help them dance again and books to take their minds to wonderful places.

These kids need toys.


Katrina's Toybox is working on getting toys to these children, via local toy donation, or national gift card donation. Gift cards sent to Katrina's Toybox are turned into toy purchases. All donations go directly to the kids. We are volunteers, doing what needs to be done, with no donations straying from the cause.
